Founded in 2014, Easyship is a Hong Kong-based e-commerce shipping and logistics platform serving more than 100,000 businesses globally.

The platform connects merchants with more than 550 courier services across over 200 destinations, allowing them to compare rates, generate labels and customs documentation, calculate taxes and duties, automate fulfillment and track shipments through a single platform or API.

Between 2020 and 2026, Easyship expanded its integrations and partnerships with platforms including Shopify Plus, Squarespace, Square, eBay, Zoho and launched an MCP server enabling AI agents to perform shipping functions through natural-language workflows. The company raised a disclosed $4 million in Series A funding in 2018. As of 2025, the company is currently valued at approximately $54.8 million.

Lawson serves as Easyship’s U.S. litigation counsel in matters involving commercial litigation, employment defense, privacy compliance, strategic transactions, and account recovery. Lawson also represents the company in responding to inquiries and subpoenas from state and federal authorities.

Since 2023, Lawson has represented Easyship and its subsidiaries in offensive and defensive litigation with customers, vendors, and commercial partners. Over a three year period, Lawson generated a 211.5% net return on Easyship’s legal spend—including direct cash recoveries, demand reversals, and defensive liability savings.
